Instructions and tips for Snoregrip

If you have never used a tongue retainer device before, it may take a few days for your tongue to get used to it.

To make the adjustment phase as smooth as possible, we offer clear instructions and tips below for getting started with Snoregrip Pro.

If you experience that it falls off during the night or is uncomfortable to use, we strongly advice you to follow these tips!

  • Step 1:

    Place Snoregrip in your mouth with the V-shape facing down and gently insert your tongue. Make sure the V-shape stays outside your mouth.

  • Step 2:

    Simply press the bulb to create a vacuum pressure.

  • Step 3:

    Release the pressure so that Snoregrip holds your tongue.

  • 💡 Pro Tip #1:

    Too much vacuum pressure can feel uncomfortable, but too little pressure will cause it to fall off.

    It's important to find a pressure that works for you, so that it stays in place but also remains comfortable. Be patient, it may take a few tries.

  • 💡 Pro Tip #2:

    If it feels uncomfortable at first, that's normal! Your tongue often needs some time to get used to it.

    We recommend that you use it for about 1-2 hours in the evening only the first few days before sleeping with it overnight.

  • 💡 Pro Tip #3:

    When you take off your Snoregrip in the morning, it's important that you do it the same way you put it on, don't just pull it off.

    Press the bulb again to release the pressure, and then remove the Snoregrip.

  • 💡 Pro Tip #4:

    We recommend sleeping on your back when using Snoregrip for maximum effect and to minimize drooling & the device falling off.

Always release the suction before removing SnoreGrip.

Press the bulb gently to break the suction, then remove it from your tongue.

Do not pull it off while suction is active, as this can cause tongue soreness or discomfort.

If SnoreGrip falls out during sleep, it usually means the fit or suction needs adjustment.

Try these steps:

  • make sure SnoreGrip is completely dry before use
  • use enough suction to stay secure, but not so much that it feels painful
  • place only the tip of your tongue inside
  • make sure the V-shape is facing down
  • make sure the V-shape stays outside your mouth
  • practice wearing it for 20-30 minutes while awake
  • try sleeping on your back while adjusting

Many customers need a few nights to get used to the device.

Some tongue soreness can happen during the adjustment period.

Some customers get used to SnoreGrip after the first night. For others, it may take a week, and for some it can take several weeks of gradual use.

The most important step is removing it correctly. Always press the bulb to release suction before taking it off.

Also try:

  • lighter suction
  • less tongue inside the bulb
  • shorter sessions at first
  • practice for 1-2 hours in the evening before overnight use
  • follow the fitting tips carefully

If you experience severe pain, bleeding, injury, or swelling, stop using the product.

If SnoreGrip Pro is not reducing your snoring yet, it usually means one of a few things needs adjusting.

First, make sure the device is being worn correctly:

- The V-shape should face down.
- The V-shape should stay outside your mouth.
- Only the tip of your tongue should sit inside the bulb.
- Use enough suction to keep it in place, but not so much that it feels uncomfortable.
- Make sure the device is clean and completely dry before use.

It can also take time to adjust. If you have never used a tongue retainer before, your tongue and mouth may need several nights to get used to the new position. We recommend practicing with SnoreGrip Pro for 1-2 hours in the evening before sleeping with it overnight.

Another important factor is nasal breathing.

SnoreGrip Pro helps by holding the tongue slightly forward, but if your nasal airway is blocked or restricted, snoring may still continue. Many people have mild nasal congestion without noticing it. This can happen from allergies, dry air, cold air conditioning, or sleeping in a room with poor air circulation.

For best results, we recommend keeping the nasal airway as open as possible while using SnoreGrip Pro.

One simple way to do this is by using nasal strips. Nasal strips can often be found at a local pharmacy, but we also offer NasalGrip strips that are designed specifically for sleep.

For many customers, combining SnoreGrip Pro with nasal strips gives better results than using either product alone.

Drooling or extra saliva can happen while your mouth adjusts to the device.

Try wearing SnoreGrip for 10-15 minutes while awake. Practice breathing and swallowing normally. This helps your mouth adapt before overnight use.

We also recommend sleeping on your back while adjusting. This can help reduce drooling and make it less likely for the device to shift or fall out.

This usually improves after a few nights.

However, comfort is individual. Having two devices in the mouth can feel crowded for some people.

Yes. SnoreGrip does not rely on teeth.

It works by gently holding the tongue forward, so it can usually be used even if you remove dentures at night.

SnoreGrip is made in one universal size.

The size is intentional for safety. A smaller version could create safety concerns, including a higher risk of swallowing or choking during sleep.

If the size feels wrong, there is a slight chance it is being used incorrectly.

You do not need to put your whole tongue inside the device. Only the tip of your tongue should go into the bulb.

Make sure:

  • the V-shape is facing down
  • the V-shape stays outside your mouth
  • only the tip of your tongue is inside the bulb
  • the suction is secure but comfortable

If SnoreGrip touches the string under your tongue, there is a chance it is sitting incorrectly.

SnoreGrip is designed so it should not press against that area when worn correctly.

Please check the fit:

  • the V-shape should face down
  • the V-shape should stay outside your mouth
  • only the tip of your tongue should go inside the bulb
  • do not push the device too far into your mouth
  • use gentle suction only

If it still feels uncomfortable, stop using it and review the instructions again before trying.

Tracking does not always update immediately after a package leaves our fulfillment center.

This can happen when the package is between carrier facilities or waiting for the next carrier scan. In many cases, tracking may stay unchanged for 24-72 hours before movement appears.

If your order is still within the normal delivery window, this usually does not mean the package is lost.

Customers are responsible for entering the correct shipping address at checkout.

Because our fulfillment process starts quickly after an order is placed, we usually cannot change the shipping address once the order has entered processing.

Shipping labels are created automatically, the package is packed, and it is added to the next carrier pickup batch. This helps us ship orders as quickly and smoothly as possible, but it also means address changes are often not possible after purchase.

If the package cannot be delivered because the address was incorrect, we may be able to help with discounted re-shipping. Depending on the order value and case, discounted re-shipping is usually between $9 and $29 USD.

Some orders may arrive in separate packages.

This can happen if items are fulfilled from different locations or shipped separately.
